Benjamin Latham jib & jumbo halyard rigging (edited and moved by admin)

I am trying to get my head around the jib & jumbo halyard rigging. The instruction book shows a pin with block attached

to the rail , like the throat/ whip rigging for the gaffs. However the plans sheet 3 & 4 have no corresponding points for the attachment . Also on the staysail halyard in the idle position,do the lines from the ends of the blocks get tied off to the hooks and then to the sheer poles ?

Any advise would be apprecited

The blocks at the rail are hooked to eyes in the rail. Lines leading through the blocks tie off to the short pinrail lashed into the deadeye lanyards (see fig. 76 in the instruction book.)
