I've been looking for some plans of mast spreaders but can't seem to get anywhere. Apologies if this is a silly question.

 

 

Mast spreaders on modern yachts - are they usually the same width of the hull?  

 

Also - do they get progressively smaller the higher up the mast they go or are all one width?
