thread for binding the stock on 1/84 scale anchor

Hello there 

   I am working on the anchors for my 1/84 scale Victory by model space and would like to know if anyone 

   knows the thread size for binding the stock on the anchor I feel I am going to run out  I don't think the kit does not give you 

    enough thread the color is not important the anchor will be painted when finished thank you

Take a piece of small diameter dowel rod and measure off a convenient distance.  I use 1/4in.  Place marks at the beginning and end of the marked distance.  Wrap the kit provided thread around the dowel.  Count the number of turns between the two marks.  Divide the marked distance by the number of turns to determine the diameter of the thread.
