I’ve been building scale model ships my whole life.  For the first time I’d like to convert a model ship kit to RC.  That being said, I have no knowledge of what’s needed to power it and steer it.  Does anyone know of any type of dummy’s guide to doing this for the first time?

Simply put,  you'll need a motor, an ESC (reversible electronic speed controller), a battery, and a radio control set.

What specifically you'll need will depend a lot on what type of model you're looking at................

What kind of boat-- Scale, speed, sail?
