Like many people, I have very little space for building wood model ships. I work in a 6 foot by 2 foot closet!   For the past 6 months I have been experimenting using a Insta360 Camera. I make videos here in Sitka Alaska Videos. Videos of me riding my E-Trike, wildlife and nature. I also set Game Cams for Alaska Brown Bear.  I have had such great luck with the Insta360 Camera, that I decided to try filming my Scratch building model of a Brig:

Even though the focal length isn't designed for close-ups, I find I can create many unusual angles with the camera. The camera also creates very high quality stills. The camera sound is very good. Inside my closet, and while filming outdoors. The camera comes with free software. The software is very powerful and can create some amazing creative clips. I'm not affiliated with the manufacturer in any way.
