I am visiting Amsterdam and when I do I always visit the Rijks Museum. Today I visited and as always viewed the modle ships of the VOC. Upon leaving I stopped in the book store and purchased the most interesting book relating to ship models in the museam and the stories of the real ships and their history. I dont think I have ever come across any book on model ships with this perspective. Simply put, to me, this is the most interesting book on models and history I have ever come across. The book is beautifully illustrated and being written by Ab Hoving is wonderfully informative.

 

Simply great. A true gem.

I bought that book from Friedman at the last NRG Conference.  It is worth every penny.  I brought it with me to Raymond.  A third time read is a charm.  Get it you will love it.
