Just thought I would give credit to where credit is due. My wife made the sails as the first set that came with the kit... head low, facing the ground... I wrecked them!
-
Didn't notice that two of my oars had come loose before I took the picture and posted... of course?
-
Thanks Joe V. I did do a couple things that the kit doesn't include: An extra anchor and the oars.
The steering arm as well as the kit sent some plastic setup that I didn't like. It is a fun kit to build. My next kit won't be started until fall and it will be the " English Clipper (1868) 'Thermopylae."

This is great!! I like the shark attack, hope not too much was eaten?

Very nice job! Colors are great and the copper hull is awesome!!

Thanks. It took some time to build this, but it was worth it in the end.

Thank you. I sometime wonder where I get the time for building, but I don't regret it either.

Incredible job! I noticed and were wondering if you could help me with the sails in the matter of rope surrounding the edge of the sail. How is this achieved as I have sails on the ship I am working on and it requires the same rope edging.

pretty cool!

Your lattice work, I bet took some time. I was just looking at the rigging around the mast and into the sail. I bet that takes time. I haven't done much for intricate rigging, but I do have a ship that will put me to the test when I take it on. Still very nice work and clean. I like that!

the detailing is awesome!
