Thanks for the visit Nils. The Confederacy has been my pride and joy for years now. Hoping to be matched with my current build of the SOS.
-
So glad you appreciate that particular model Jesse. The story behind that one does make it very special with my son who has "locks" on it after I eventually check out.
-
Wow! Jesse.... Very nice job. That had to be a fun build. I love your extremely clean work.

Thanks pal. She was fun to do. Looking at both of my Vics in their display cases right now.
-
Yep.... she's REALLY small JesseLee.
-
Beautiful job Tom. Great detail for such a small scale.
-
What scale?

Your work is so perfect and clean, I believe I could pick your models from among a room full of other builders models. Just beautiful.

Nice work Anja....looking for more of your work. What are you working on now?

Thanks for the visit and your kind comment Johann. This little Vic is, perhaps, my favorite project of all for a number of reasons.

Hi Algie:
In my search for a "fully rigged" model of the Vic as small (or smaller) than my 1:180 scale, I was surprised to find yours. Amazing! At first, I thought I was looking at photos of my own build.
Very nicely done.
You can find mine in my gallery as well....or go to the link below to view all of her detailed photos.
Few modelers in the world have ever achieved such detail of this great ship at that scale.
She is truly a magnificent piece of maritime history.
I only wish I could afford to take the trip to Portsmouth and tour her for a week.
Cheers

Hi Mike:
Never done a cross sectional project before.....but after seeing your work, I may be inspired to put one on my list of future builds. Very nice work indeed.

Hi Remco:
Visited your Facebook postings.... Your stunning talent far exceeds anything I have ever seen....period. I am utterly lost for words....and, believe me sir, that is saying a lot in my case.

Hi Doris:

Hi Vivian:
Browsing the build logs picking up tips from the many amazing artists....glad I came across your beautiful Lateen Caravel. Very nice work indeed. Love your photography, although the one shot from above is giving me a nose bleed....and the view through the tiller port is incredible. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice work Sjors. Are the belaying pins metal, or did you paint them? Nice look.
-
Great looking build Rusty.....as with all of your work. Appears to be quite large.
What scale?
Flat bottomed?
-
Looks like you and I have traveled the same path more than once Augie. Your Syren looks great.
