  1. Alongside the work on the hull, I begin to prepare the rigging, I prepare the battens in cardboard and cut strips of canvas (panels) which I glue together to form the sails ....
  2. I came across a third model that I had started many years ago and then set aside. It is a Genoese tartana at 1:36 scale, which I decided to pick up and finish. The hull was already made, so I resumed by planking the deck.
  3. It was a vessel often used for coral fishing, using a very ingenious device. Good work.
  4. I saw the error in the stern planking, I will fix it as soon as possible.
  5. Thank you very much, HOF 🍻 !!! Continuation of planking........
  6. I also have many leftover parts from other kits, I hope they are enough to supplement any missing pieces...... Hull frame assembly
  7. Thank you Hof , your experience will definitely be useful to me 👍🏼
  8. hi rob, I only have the plans provided by the kit, usually when I modify the kits I make disasters ....
  9. I start the construction of the Flying Cloud, an American clipper from 1851. The scale 1:96 is very small and certainly the kit won't be very detailed, for example there are barely a hundred blocks, a ridiculous number for a ship of that size..... I will try to do my best.
  10. the almost completed hull fixed in the support ....
