  1. The model has a flat bottom, I don't use strips but thin plywood panels that I recovered ......
  2. Penzo and Marzari are the greatest experts on Adriatic boats, each of their books is a treasure !! the 2 models that I have reproduced are part of the maritime museum of Cesenatico, In my opinion the trabaccolo is among all the Adriatic boats the most fascinating (Marzari has made a beautiful monograph)
  3. These are some models of Adriatic Sea boats that I have made. The sails carry the colors of the localities or the owners....
  4. Hi Wefalck , the book is wonderful, one of the rare monographs on Italian boats. I love the boats of the Adriatic Sea with the characteristic flat bottom and multicolored sails. I hope that soon you too will be able to build a Venetian sailing ship, the finished model will certainly not go unnoticed
  5. For a few days now I have been working on the model of the bragozzo. It is a self-built sailing ship with the help of Marzari's beautiful monograph on this type of Adriatic boats. The hull is about 52 cm long and is on a scale of 1:24.
  6. Last photos of the sailing ship, w.i.p. closed, thank you all for your attention and participation.
  7. The sails were included in the lot I had purchased, slightly oversized and without reefs and rope band .....
