  1. Hi Roger, in fact the boat in the painting you posted is very similar to a bragozzo, it could be this boat .

  8. Hi Wefalck , the book is wonderful, one of the rare monographs on Italian boats. I love the boats of the Adriatic Sea with the characteristic flat bottom and multicolored sails. I hope that soon you too will be able to build a Venetian sailing ship, the finished model will certainly not go unnoticed

  10. For a few days now I have been working on the model of the bragozzo. It is a self-built sailing ship with the help of Marzari's beautiful monograph on this type of Adriatic boats. The hull is about 52 cm long and is on a scale of 1:24.
