  1. For a few weeks he's building a model of paranza , typical boat of the Adriatic Sea. The kit of Corel, actually the end result will deviate from the original project because I want to build the fishing boat "Mirella", the museum boat sea of Cesenatico. That's what I want to play .... Mauro
  2. I finished the planking and I almost finished painting the hull, at the same time I'm building the cutter of the brig. The kit provides only 2 boats metal, it will build 7 (as in the original) using very thin strips of wood. Not sure of being able to sell all the boats on board, maybe I'll have to discard some. Mauro
  3. I built a small boat to lay on the deck, in the coming days will clothe with strips of walnut. Mauro
  4. Thanks Bob, we hope that the sailors did not drink the contents of the barrels !!!!!!!Mauro
  5. Hi Carl, you're right, I'll have to pass a piece of rope on the barrels to simulate the binding.Mauro
  6. Thanks Nils, I do not know if the barrels will be seen in the finished work ......... I hope so !!!Mauro
  7. I finished the cover of the bridge and I placed some barrels in a part of the hold. These barrels will remain visible in the case of the hatch opening. Originally I wanted to leave visible on both sides of the hold but I decided to place over the hatch a small boat, so on the one hand the hold will remain closed over the boat. Mauro
  8. Hi Matija, for the deck I used strips of European maple.Mauro

  14. Hi Hartmut, the saettia should be, in my opinion, the ancestor of pinco , the similarities are many. Time ago I realized I also a model of "Pinco Genovese", I am attaching a photo, even if it is of good quality. I wish to make a beautiful model !!! Wishes for a happy Christmas to you and all members of the forum and your family.Mauro
  15. Hi Nils, my sails are all sewn by hand, do not have a sewing machine ....... and do not know the use !!! The sails may look a little different from each other just because they are hand sewn and the seams, despite the efforts, are slightly different from each other. Once finished the work on the sails hope that a pass with the iron makes them more uniform. Reciprocate the good wishes, I wish you and your family and friends a Merry Christmas !!! Mauro
  16. When the scale is large enough build the blocks of my sailing ships, here are the first pieces ...... Mauro
