  1. The base for the model complete with nameplate ...
  2. Thanks Yves, to tell the truth these boats with colorful sails are typical of the Adriatic Sea ( Cesenatico , Cattolica , Lignano ecc. ) , in Genoa we are too stingy to waste money on coloring the sails 😂😂😂!!! My next model is the schooner Pandora, which is based in the Ligurian Sea, first in Genoa and currently in La Spezia .
  3. .... a bucket (made from a small plastic container) and its rag ......
  4. ...the oars, the anchor and the compass ...
  5. This schooner is the reconstruction of a Russian sailing ship from the 1800s. Currently it has a different color of the hull (white / black) and a new figurehead (much more beautiful) but I am in love with the old version ..... and I will try to reproduce the old Pandora !!!
  6. I'm almost at the end of my launch Assunta and I'm starting to think about the next model. I decided to resume a schooner that I had interrupted some time ago: the Pandora.
  7. Welcome Giacomo !!!
  8. Thanks Bob , for the nice words , the colorful sails so imaginative make these boats even more beautiful
  9. Hello Wefalck , unfortunately I do not know the English language, I have to rely on an online translator and this prevents me from fully understanding the technical part of your question. I have no drawings of this boat, I rely on a few photos and on a book that deals with other boats of the Adriatic Sea. Surely there will be errors (and horrors) due to my wrong intuitions, not only for the sailing part, the material in my possession is really very little ....
  10. Accomplices a few days of unexpected holidays (but very welcome) the construction site is coming to an end.
  11. I would like to put in my model a couple of sailors, I have some toy soldiers that I can modify even if the scale is not really perfect. The scale of the figurines is 1:36 while the sailing ship is 1:25, the result would be a crew about 1 meter high and 40 ..... I will see the final result and then I will decide whether to use them or not but on board the off-scale is not obvious .
