  1. MAS 15 1/350 small 3D

    MAS 15 from WW1 , Italian torpedo boat, Luigi Rizo on June 10th of 1918 sinked with torpedo KuK battleship St. Istvan near island Premuda, Adriatic sea,  out of Zadar, Croatia, in that time Austrohungaric empire.
    The model is printed in resin from my drawings which I made thanks to data and fantastic model in 1/144 of Valerio Manlio Gai, Thetis models.

  2. Alert 1777 scale 1:30 by Roland Vlahovic

    This is model made by Roland Vlahović, from Lovran/Croatia.
    As the model is , my opinion, fantastic, an as unfortunately Roland is very busy I post his works an I hope that You would like it.

    I think that the object is well known, the base was the AoS monography.

  3. Flying Fish 1:200

    Golleta Flying Fish, on drawings Corel, scale 1:50.
    Reduced in scale 1:200 as I like small.
    I liked it fast lines and great sailing surfaces.
    The model was made many time ago and was may first model.
    The keel and firs hull was made from paper and then used wood for finishing and structures.
    There is many wrong and over sized details but this was done in the pre-internet era so i hadn't to mach in formations.

  4. Flying Fish 1:100

    Another model of the same boat; Flying Fish, drawings Corel 1:50 reduced
    This model also was done long time ago, without any other references than the mentioned drawings.
    The only modification was the square sails as I saw on one Amati kit that probably for rear winds this type of boats used square sails.
    I hadn't intention to made a perfect museum reproduction but a litle "wif"

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
