    Please have a seat Nenad . I think I will have full sails spread with full rigging . I hope the sails will not take away from the rigging job. I need to get some sail cloth for this kit. Any one know what cloth works best and where i can get some?

    Thank you both. Yeah I already broke the bulkheads in the front. i just glued them back. I think Ill put on the ceiling planks to help hold them for now. I will put up more as I progress.

    Hi I just became a member today. This is my first model Flying Fish from Model Shipways. I plan to build to specifications . A copper hull and presented with full sail including Stunsls. I would like any modeler to make suggestions on my build. I am new and any information or guidance will be welcome. I'm sure some of my Technics will be imaginative and will invoke discussion.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
