  1. I just got the Mamoli MV32 cross section after watching logs . I am waiting for Model expo to see if they have a material list to identify the various wood supplied. on the plans there are some descriptions of items but all in Italian. Wonder if anyone has had same issue and how you identified material
  2. bob, I am looking to built an Essex with masts and rigging but model shipways kit does not include plans or material. where did you have to go to find rigging details, thanks wayne

      Wayne, I used the masting and rigging plans in the AOTS book on the Essex, supplemented by Lees rigging book.

  3. I am looking to add masts and rigging to model shipways Essex, not available from manufacturer. I have seen some done with this, where can you find mast and rigging details
  4. thank you for this link found very helpful, will probably get the Constitution cross section. Have you ever seen a lengthwise cross section model- one side open with interior other planked.
  5. I am new to the forum, found this very helpful. I am looking for a cross section model , almost thought of the black pearl but I will keep looking for something from legitimate mfgr.if anyone has a suggestion I would be grateful
