Hiya Jaager, thanks for that, very informative, i will give the soaking a try, the planking is very thin and seems to bend very easy, the thing is, the first three planks have to bend and twist, at the bow and stern, being a Viking ship, as you know are both pointed,,, but you have given me some good ideas now, and forthat I thank you. regards. Harry.

Good morning from a sunny UK mate, thanks for the welcome,, yes been looking through some of the write-ups, found some very useful information there, looking forward to my build, will keep members updated, thank you again, and have a good’n Mark.

I am just starting my first wooden ship, Viking Ship Drakkar, because this is clinker built hull, would members suggest soaking the hull planks with glue/water solution. Suggestions would be helpful Regards Harry.
