  1. Started to fiddle with the shrouds and lanyards. Do they need more tension? I can feel that they are quite tight when i touch them. I hope to avoid that the shrouds get sloppy an uneven when i start with the ratlines.
  2. Very slow progress as usual. Only building when i'm motivated and feel fresh. No hurry. Started some work with bowspirit, masts and channels. Caldercraft's 3,5mm deadeyes does not look good at all. The holes must be aligned by Steve Wonder.
  3. I am deeply honored by your comment Chuck. Your modeling skills are a big inspiration to me. It's going slow with me, but I'm in no hurry! I have made some progress with the build lately, but not updated the thread.
  4. Brilliant work mugje. The Pegaus kit looks wonderful. When i opened the box and scanned through the kit i was impressed with the general quality, both the parts and wood..... Btw..... The instructions for Pickle is said to be very good. Although i find it hard to fully understand the rigging both in plans and instructions. The tackle pedants for the lower masts.... I can't understand the rigging they are used for, neither in the instructions or the plans...
  5. Seems like we follow the same path... I have my Pegasus kit lying ready for my next bulid 😂 Which could be a looong time before i get started regarding my slow progress....
  6. Pristine work mugje... You are so much faster than me with the Pickle build. Can't find as much time for my build as i wish with work and family. I'm doing foremast channels now. Very nice to follow your build.
  7. Really good work with pristine finish mugje! Just wondering....How do you work out that superb square and octagon sections on your masts?
  8. Dryfitting mine. I choose to paint my dull white inside. Maybe i will redo and paint red.
  9. Excellent work and finish! Question... When rigging the carronades, do you make the chesse wheels before threading or after and make then on the deck.
  10. Fiddling with the Skylights. Had to use some Tamiya White Putty to be satisfied with the beveling. Used Lego to get the angles sort of good enough.
  11. Hi there everybody! New member from Norway here. Just made an account on this wonderful forum. I have spent many ours reading building logs, and i must say there are some extreme skills around! Work and kids take time and effort so i put in some building when i have time to spare. Posting a few pictures from where i an now. As you probably already have guessed i am from Norway so please excuse my English 😊
