can someone please tell me how the mast halyards that hold up the two masts are tied off at the deck cannot see this any were

this build really saved my butt i found the instructions Very lacking. But i do have a question that i could not find an answer for that is were do the the mast halyards end that go thru the tops of the masts and then disappear. The instructions show them going thru the hole at the top and then disappear any help would be appreicated.

I am just now looking at you your post , fantastic job. I am thinking of making one from scratch using your info it is very good. Would you believe I actually had one of these canoes many years ago and it looked exactly like yours. it was canvas covered and painted red. The canvas was in bad shape so I decided to remove it. under the canvas was a brass or copper plate that read Peterborough Canoe Company spelled the canadian way!

These kits cost an arm and a leg in Canada with the change in money plus shipping I have built a similar kit before so I think I can do it

Would it be possible to send me the actual dimensions of the the mold pieces I am having a big problem trying to get them off your post diagrams.

I was wondering what you used for the pins in the oar locks in your picture they look like something that was supplied? or did you make them your self. There was nothing in my kit that looked like that.

Its a good thing your build is on line I would be lost with out it. Anyway have another question on the sheet 2 it shows on the plan bow chocks but can not find any reference to them any where else?? can you help.
