Now i test the position of the first deck.As you see the deck consists from 4 parts,so i must try if they fit right....Thanks God they fit good whitout major gaps. The small gap will covered with the plank. I put the first two of them,starting from the center front,leaving space for the plank that i put above the gap of the two parts. I decide that is better to put that plank after i glue the deck in place,so i can cover well the small gap. Lets see what will happen...

I place all the frames in the keel. I put the reinforcments (two per side) throught the holes of the frames. So the skeleton of the ship is now stable and ready for next step...The first deck.. I hope that all goes well...We will see....

Hello my friends,i start today to build the kit of OCCRE "SAN ILDEFONSO" I have read the topic of another user that make the same and i am ready to proceed me too.. I upload fotos with the progress First open the box then preparing the tools The two parts of the keel..i put my phone near to realise the length of the kiel... final i glue the two parts of the keel... To be continued...

Thank all of you for the wellcome in this forum. Soon i will start my OCCRE wooden ship kit of SAN ILDEDONONSO and i will upload fotos of my progress...i am glad that i find people that love this hobby.

Hello to all members here,lovers of wooden ship models... I am from Greece,i have build some plastic models of ships. i decide to make wooden ship now,so i have made first an easy one to be familiar with wooden models so i i have build the kit of Artesania LAtina "SANTA MARIA" Now i start this kit o f OCCRE the "SAN ILDEFONSO" So i look for your fotos here and also for memeber SJORS from Holland who have build the same. If you interested i will start to send photos of my progress. Thanks SOme fotos from my earlier models and sorry if i made language errors...
