    Decided that the R/C gear should be installed before the standing rigging. All that string would make it difficult to access the interior. Hope all this wire (inside and outside) won't20210119_224359.thumb.jpg.30df13541e7ff7939318b4d07ed8c4e9.jpg interfere with the R/C signals!

    I think I have worked out how to make a roller furling gear for the genoa. Ordered in some bits for that yesterday.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
