    As I look more closely I realized I didn't put the garboard on correctly....but that still doesn't account for all the gap.

    when i got ready to put on the sheer strake i found that there is a gap running from zero to 1/4 inch remaining in the forward part of the hull. All the previous strakes were put on without overlapping so guess I'll have to cut out pieces to fill in and complete the hull!!

    I sure appreciate the outstanding explanations and photos....they have helped me a lot in view of the inexplicable lack of a schematic showing the relationship of the parts.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
