    Hello! well I finished my 1980 something Minicraft and it’s ok! Loads of mistakes, but learned a great deal from this web site. My original Titanic sat for all those years in my attic and it warped! As I said, I finished it and will give it to my grandson for his room. He’s 4. I just purchased a new Minicraft titanic deluxe and all the proper tools to build her right! Be well! And hope to start my own post with pictures!

    Hello new to forum! You did an awesome job! I have the first Minicraft Titanic from early 80’s. Just retired and started to finally build her. How did you do the rails? Very frustrating!

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
