  1. I'm thinking about getting an Iwata airbrush but I'm a bit confused between two models: the Iwata Custom Micron CM-C and the Iwata Eclipse Takumi. I’ve read great things about both, but I’m not sure which one would be best for me. The Custom Micron is supposed to be really good for detailed work, but I heard it can be a bit tricky to maintain. The Eclipse Takumi seems more versatile, but can it get the same fine details?

Hi RevArtem, welcome to MSW. You will probably get more responses if you post your question in the Painting, finishing , weathering products and techniques forum. Go to the top of the page and click Browse > Forums > Painting, finishing, weathering products and techniques. Good luck

Hey everyone! I’m curious if anyone here has experience airbrushing on ships or working in shipyards. It seems like a cool but challenging job with all the large surfaces and tough conditions.

What are some tips or tricks you’ve learned? Any favorite tools or techniques for dealing with weather, rust, or rough surfaces? I am an apprentice engineer, it somehow help in my career in the future.
