Hello all:
I am searching for detailed photos of 3 cannons from the Rose Mary.
Online I can only find very generic photos from the exhibition.
Maybe someone visited the vessel and made a good walk around of the cannons??
Specially interested in models 79A1277, 81A1423 and 79A1278.
Any help?
Regards
Paco

I have been converting a picture of the guns recovered from the Mary Rose to printable files using Fusion 360. The scale is about 1:20. The second picture is the result after several rebuilds and restarts. I am pretty happy with the final result. If any members would like to make use of any of these cannons for a model then let me know. Otherwise if anyone has a particular cannon they would like modelled i am open to suggestions. All i need is some drawings. The scale can be adjusted to any size. The only limitation is the 3d printer build plate size. Only stipulation is that they are not to be sold. My present project is the culverin at the Basel museum with a dragon head on the barrel.
Hello Henry
What an interesting post. I am new to ship modeling (been all life working with RC plane models, and recently wit RC tanks).
I was thinking in project of making a few metal scale models of the Mary Rose cannons. I have a small lathe and I think I can make a decent job
¿Can I have access to the drawings of those cannons you made? I also have a 3d printer, so I can also start by making PETG models, and also some casting with lead could be a possibility to get all that detail you made in your design, that won't be possible with the lathe.

Hello, no one has made a "walk around" of the cannons in a visit to the exhibition?
Best regards
