    Did you hang the ship into the tree for taking these shots, or is it Photoshop?

    A nice Idea anyhow....

    Hallo Nils:

     

    No, actually I took the picture sitting the model on a bench and then using the PAINT software of MS Office, erasing the bench with the copy-paste function several times over sea and grass.

    The low shot from the bows looking up into the ship gives a very dramatic picture of an excellent model. If a photo editor was used to get rid of the bit of vegitation bottom right and add some waves below the bow then it would be hard to tell it from the real ship.

    Thanks for your comment Ian, actually in the other 2 models I made (San Francisco and HMS Pandora, both included in the Gallery), I intended to show the ships as real ones, taking the photos over the real scenary of Miramar Bay.  Karl
