  1. I have lost faith in the prognosticative capabilities of our large rodents and instead have, for several years, based my forecasts on the use of a "Weather Rock".  It seems to be much more accurate, does not require special foods, won't dig up the lawn and, perhaps most significantly, Kevin, it does not possess ICBMs.

Some examples of the instructions for the weather rock include:

    • If the rock is wet, it's raining.
    • If the rock is swinging, the wind is blowing.
    • If the rock casts a shadow, the sun is shining.
    • If the rock does not cast a shadow and is not wet, the sky is cloudy.
    • If the rock is not visible, it is foggy.
    • If the rock is white, it is snowing.
    • If the rock is coated with ice, there is a frost.
    • If the ice is thick, it's a heavy frost.
    • If the rock is bouncing, there is an earthquake.
    • If the rock is under water, there is a flood.
    • If the rock is warm, it is sunny.
    • If the rock is missing, there was a tornado.
    • If the rock is wet and swinging violently, there is a hurricane.

When you laid out your frames for cutting, what type of wood did you use? The grain on it looks like some of the wood I'm have, but I don't have any idea what it is. It came from an old recliner chair that was taken apart and given to me. I was thinking of using it for my frames. The thing is I don't know if there is enough of it and after ripping the wood down from the recliner chair I found out there was three different types used and the grains are all different. I don't know types of woods very well.

None in particular, I do not leave this part visible, only the first and last in white pine

If they will be visible frames to look for a better wood
