Can anyone offer any info on the quality (or lack of) of Constructo kits and/or the Louise Steam Launch in particular? Thank you......Milo

Thank you......Milo If you do a search on the forums here, there are at least two build logs that I'm aware of for this kit, and the one that was completed recently looked very nice. I'd suggest you look for those logs, and form your opinion based on the feedback provided from the people who built (or are currently building) it!
