I've not tried the glue you link to. I have worked with PE a far amount and my glue of choice is EvoStick Wood Adhesive. It can be thinned, does not bond on contact and so can allow for adjustments to be made. 

 

The only down side is that because it is not instant if you need to force pieces together they will need to be clamped or held or CA is the way to go

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
