jazzdc Posted August 1, 2019 #1 Posted August 1, 2019 Hello - see photo attached of cannon materials and manual illustration for the Model Shipways Rattlesnake. There is additionally an axle in the illustration but I don't see any reference to an axle in the parts menu either in metal fittings or dowels. Any suggestions? There is also a wooden piece on which the end of the cannon rests. Any suggestions about this piece? Leave it out? Use scrap?
Ebomba Posted August 1, 2019 #2 Posted August 1, 2019 there should be a brass rod included in the kit 1/32" x 6" for use as the axels, the triangular piece the butt of the cannon rests on is the quoin no material is supplied for that piece and must be fabricated by the builder, very small piece, you could omit it and the casual observer would never miss it Ed mtaylor 1
