Introduction:  Recently finished MS Dory kit, 90% done with MS sailing skiff, 50% done with Bluejacket Dory.  Looking to build the Mayflower as a tribute/gift to my brother who is proud of our Pilgrim heritage.  My Swift "build" (my other thread) is in Hanger Queen status about 30% done🏗️)  MS= Model Shipways

 

Start date: TBD (awaiting model delivery...shooting for mid April)

 

1. To begin, remove the false keel (bulkhead former) and lightly sand its edges
2. (At the Bearding Line) Reduce the thickness of the bulkhead former gradually to 3/32” wide.
