My name is Mikael and this is my first post here I bought a model of Victory from Mamoli in 1995 and built on it for 2 years then I got tired, in December 2024 I found it in the basement again and picked it up, it is in very bad condition cracks all over crooked and twisted but I will make an attempt to save it. I have now built approx. 1 month and have come a little way. You can see photos from where I started and up to today Gregory, barkeater, chris watton and 2 others 5
Mikael Martinsson Posted February 5 Author #2 Posted February 5 My rescue project continues, I was hoping I could save the fake coppering but it didn't work so I had to sand everything down and paint with copper paint. I also discovered that the hinges for the rudder were wrong so I had to make new holes for them. I will remove the strips that are on the hull and at the windows and make new ones.
