Started Fair American. Planking the hull is completed with filler blocks stem and stern. The instructions I find a bit confusing as regards the stern. Some plans show the extensions ( 4 precut pieces in the kit). Others do not.Can anyone tell me which way to go?

HereHere's the update:

Marked the butts and treenails on deck,,  cut and set up the gunports port side, started the house front.(still working on it). Next stop will probably be the waterways...studying placement of the quarterdeck. Any suggestions or observations will be appreciated.
