I'm working on the sails for my AVS, and I'm not sure how long the reef lines on the sail would be?

I'm guessing maybe 2 feet on each side of the sail, which would be 1/2 inch at model scale?

Please verify, Thanks!

Ken - different period, different type of ship, the reef lines on my Bluenose plan measure 5/8", which scales up to 40" at 1/64 scale.  The important thing is they need to be long enough to tie together under the boom while taking into account the amount of the foot of the sail that is bundled up on the boom as well as the boom itself.

It'll be interesting to see what people come back with on this.
