Were they pre-painted or left unpainted. I am guessing the spares might have been painted. But there is also an 8 sided hermaphrodite spar. I am assuming this is 8 sided so it could be turned to the needed diameter and might not be painted. The big spares on deck are chained down and the spares on the boat skids are lashed. Are the lashing ropes hemp colored? Are the lashings for the gig and jolly boat hemp colored rope?
