Just starting my model of the Caldercraft "Supply". It seems to me that the anchor rope supplied is far too big a diameter & too "white", also did vessels of this era have anchor chains or was the rope attached directly to the anchor? Any help appreciated! Geoff

Geoff..... you should replace the rope. i used some MO-Rope 1.5 mm. You could try Chucks rope also. Get the tan. I used weathering powders

 diluted with water to darken it up some , but you could use tea or even coffee.

Statsraad Lehmkuhl (half model) 1/8th" – 1'.

 

Victory Bow Section (Panart/Mantua) scale – 1/78th  (on hold).

 

Previous build: Bluenose ll (Billings) scale – 1/100th.
