Congratulations! Exceptional build! Looks perfect. I love the scale figures.

 

I chose this longboat too as a first time build but I'm really struggling with the planking at the bow. Going to take me awhile to get good enough at shaping planks before I can make progress so I'm doubly impressed with what you have achieved!

Havelock, yes I found the bow the most challenging part of the planking as well. I was grateful to the painted waterline for hiding a few blemishes. But at least with such a small kit it's not so bad if you have to rip off a few planks and try them again. Good luck, and post pictures when you're done.

Gorgeous job! I just ordered the kit. I get inspired looking at builds like this, but fearful my end product will look like it took cannon fire.
