Hi Bill , I completed my SLO Mo a year ago but with all the restrictions  we have all had to respect I have only had 2 opportunities to actually run her, and unfortunately that is where my problems have started

The first time I ran her she ran like a dream for 2 mins, she runs on plane, cornered beautifully, but the motor blew after 2 mins!

Mtronics happily replaced the motor but this weekend I tried again with a similar result, although I got 5 mins this time

can you advise what motor, ESC , propeller combination I should be using to get a good but reliable performance

Beautiful build!  Slo-Mo-Shun IV is on my wish list to build as a static model.  Being from Seattle WA as I am, the original now resides about 20 min. away in the Hydroplane Museum.  Nice work on the mahogany decking.
