U.S. Mine Sweeping Boat (MSB) 6, 1952

This is a scratch-built model of a 57' wooden mine sweeping boat from the 1950s, in 1:96 scale.  About 50 of these boats were constructed and used in Korea and Viet Nam.  My father served on MSB 6, out of Charleston, SC in the early 1950s.  A build log is on this site at https://modelshipworld.com/topic/32325-msb-6-by-gbmodeler-196-scale-1952-united-states-mine-sweeping-boat/
