Academy 1/400 Titanic

Hello,

Academy 1/400 Titanic. I chose to not do quite a bit of the fine detail painting. This is my first, and by far most complex, model since I was around 12 years old. 50 years ago. Anyway, not sure what else to say. If anyone sees anything from these pics that I could have done differently, please let me know. Edited to add: Sorry, I forgot to resize the images before posting. Is there a way I can delete them and reattach the correct 1600x1200 max size?

Thanks much and cheers,

Mark

Looks great! I'm just finishing the Airfix version. I think it's the same or very similar kit.

Hello Mister :)

I have built the Academy version long time ago. I was built it in our modeling club as a technical demonstrator for kids: what you can achieve from a kit with no tools, no airbrush, no others just passion and patience. It took 8 or 10 workshop events (sorry, don't remember correctly) and we compared the kit documentation with the photos of the real ship, looking what we can 'bash'. Not too much though, seems the major errors were corrected by this kit.
