Fantasy Flying Machine, Scratch built 1:30

This is a scratch-built fantasy flying machine made from left over bits and pieces from other projects, including broom handle, dollhouse trim, rubber bands, etc.. I It is part ship, part stagecoach, car, hot and hot air balloon. It does have a rudder, paddle-wheel, steam engine, anchor and bowsprit sail, so in my mind, at least, it can hopefully qualify as a "ship". Maybe more of an airship, but still a ship!

it certainly qualifies as a flying ship. really creative, I like your steam boiler. Could not see the wood fuel stacked.

Thanks!! In all my excitement about the build, I guess I forgot about the stacked wood!!😀

I love your fantasy flying machine. Very creative, beautifully crafted and wonderful fun. Now you need to write a fantasy novel to go with it!

Great idea, but my writing skills aren't very good. I may just get stuck on the opening, "It was a dark and stormy night.." 😅

Great flying ship! But... i feel the buoyant life ring has less use in the air 😃

Indeed, really a fun machine and well crafted.

Yes, the life ring wouldn't work that well when airborne. But handy when the craft crash-lands in the ocean!! Thanks for your comments. It was fun to build this.
