I continue with the planking of the second layer. Unfortunately, little free time. Nice weather outside. .

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in HMS Indefatigable 1794 by Kevin - FINISHED - Vanguard Models - 1:64 - Feb 2023 to June 2025
I was lucky with the prototype in that the hull was to be painted.
For me, using pins was acceptable 🤪

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in Help for the Noobies
Just a quick note: This forum area is for talk of using MSW's software and features, and not any modelling content.
-
James H got a reaction from Obormotov in Help for the Noobies
Correct, but only as far as forum usage goes.
This area isn't for model-related questions.

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in **NO MODELING CONTENT**????
You sort of missed the words before the title you gave this topic:
That means, if you have questions about how to use the forum, not how to rig. or plank a model etc.

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in A guide to using MSW
Have you tried another browser etc?
The only solution I have to this sort of problem is to clear cache and cookies and try a different browser to see if can work. It's very difficult to provide solutions to IT when it's not at our side.

Hi Joe,
This is at your end. Shut down MSW, clear cache and cookies and then come back to MSW and login again. See how that goes.

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in A guide to using MSW
Hello all,
Ron @hollowneck has put together a very comprehensive guide to using MSW. It also includes how to register, so will also help those of you who are only seeing this as a visitor, and wish to join our community.
Please head over here and take a look. You can also download it as a PDF from the page too:

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in Maximum size of a photo for this forum
All my photos are saved through Photoshop are exported in 'save for web - legacy'. This brings the images down to a few hundred kb.

Many of my pics are 2000. The system will adjust accordingly.

You can do max 1500 wide, although I tend to leave around 2000 and let the system adjust.
As for data size, you can use anything from a few kb to a fee meg. Pretty flexible.

You're welcome.
We did used to have one a while ago but the software was never updated to fit the core forum software version we were running, and it simply stopped working, so we removed it.

Ok, I have added a tool which will take you straight back to the top of the page which will help if you had to scroll a long way.
When you start to roll down a page, you will now see a black 'Up Arrow' in the bottom right of the screen. Press that and you'll be taken to the top again.

James H got a reaction from Obormotov in Spell Check
If 'jhgfjhfhjfkjhfhjfh' was an actual word, I would do this for Mac and ask it to 'learn' the spelling.
-
James H got a reaction from Obormotov in Spell Check
You should be able to select those words and simply add them to your computer's dictionary so they don't show in error again.

Your spellchecker will always be a part of your own personal computer system and not anything we operate.
