    Has anyone picked up the book Six Frigates? I'm working on my second read through and find it fascinating. Lots of information about the wheeling and dealing to get the ships built and their actions up through the war of 1812

    Good luck. I've been working on this kit since Feb and haven't made much progress. It's probably the single most challenging model I've ever tried. There are some great build logs on here for guidance.

    If this isn't the proper forum I apologize. I have a problem with my Revell Constitution. All of my decks are warped and there doesn't seem to be any way to line them up. How has everyone else gotten around this problem? Thanks for the help in advance.

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build.
