    Hi Dave: I have just started the Bluenose and have the frames in and blocked between them as you suggested on the MSW web build log. I am now ready to start the deck planking and do not understand how, for instance, the waterway must be curved to fit the line of the hull but somehow changes to straight to fit the line of the deck planking. Also how can the waterway be curved so nicely across its width? Is it perhaps made in sections? Any advise you have would be appreciated. Great looking start on your log! Jim

The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.

The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955.
