    placing all the sail rigging on, this is the mail sail which consists of two parts which have to be tied togelther

    Ill use the rope provided in the kit, and some natural color thread to secure it to the sails.

    there is some rope around the sail in the instruction plans, so it will take a few days to hand sew this in.

    sewing is not my forte, so this is my least favorite part of the build.

    the sails must be separated and ironed, I also use spray starch. it helps keep the material from bunching up especially when sewing curves in the lower parts of the sails.

    its time to work on the sails, the kit provides some sails but it still needs to be sewn a bit to complete them.

    this rigging is slow going but it sure brings out the ship.
