    Dear colleague!
    I hope you will understand me and take my trouble with understanding! The thing is that I have the whole kit for assembling the model, but I lost the assembly instructions... CONSTRUCTOR is not exist and I can not ask for a copy. Help me please!!!! I would be very grateful if you could send me a scanned copy of the instructions (not pictures, just a text description) at abp2007[at]gmail.com.

    Hi Winlich, This is very helpful thank you. I managed to correct my mistake with the bow reinforcements and now starting the bevelling of the ribs for planking. Reading up on the techniques of planking first. Will post some photos soon if interested. Thanks for your help to date... Klinko.

    Hi Winlich, I have just started the mayflower as my first build and using your excellent blog as a guide. However, I have made a stupid mistake whilst gluing the bow reinforcements. Only when I have come to glue the false deck have a realised. However, the bow reinforcements are strongly glued to the keelson. Do you have any tips on how I can remove them to then position them correctly without destroying the wood? Hope you can help. K.
