  13. Blooming Heck , what a blast from the past ! I thought all that stuff had gone up in cyber smoke when we had the big one ! Must get around this site some more and look a bit more. I wrote that some ? years ago and it has brought back memories of the late lamented member "Cut Throat Jake " (Rich) who gave us all so much help at that time in formulating the database (E.T)

  18. The replacement was the TS Queen Mary 2 and she was supposed to be towed off to La Rochelle last year but that fell through and is now at Tilbury.
  19. Correct , built 1935, served during the war as HMS Goatfell. Evidently did not take to being turned into a floating Restaurant on the London Embankment

  21. I am thinking big and I wonder if any member has had a sight of the Billing Boats HMS warrior kit yet, If so any observations. I can just about get the length on my bench if I let some bits hang over the edge..
