    Carl, hope all is well , I posted an up date on my just for fun riverboat build, on this site I go by MOG   Mike

    Quick question will be starting the OcCre 1:80 Mississippi  in a  month or so , my guess is 22 mm scale figures, however HO, OO scale all seem to be  17:6 to 1:87 any ideas on the proper scale figures for this build

    Thanks for the replay, great looking wood, love the future  being a bit of a woodworker myself  self-taught ,  I do allot of military boxes, collectable framing, , boat cases, I did turn a 3 car garage in a bar room, but mainly smaller type projects.  The wood I used on the PT deck was Mahoney, it's still in the unsealed state, so the shade will change slightly.  Anyway wishing you and yours a happy Holiday season

      I am the same Mike self-taught a lot of Mahogany has some similar characteristics I have some Philippine Mahogany in the shop that is similar color/ribbon but the grain is different.Merry Christmas Kevin
