I cut a pretty ugly rabbit myself. Also, I ordered a manual jewelers saw after my experience carving the transom. No way I could carve the counter blocks and filler blocks by hand. I can cut them to the rough shape with the saw and then trim and sand.

Hi John,
You're slightly ahead of me on the Rattlesnake, so I look forward to watching. I had trouble with the bulkheads not sliding into the keel. I broke two of them before I gave up and cut a small groove in the bulkhead with a chisel and sanded out the slot. They fit pretty well now.

Hi EJ,
Thanks for the tips and encouragement. Do you recommend dry fitting some of the planks to get a better idea of the fairing? The drawing are a little fuzzy to me.
