    Hello, Keith Black. When I finished positioning the main deck yesterday, the first thing I had to do was weigh it! For me, commitment to others is important. Because I don't have MR. EDT's third book right now, I can't do all of his work. When all the equipment on deck is finished, the work is done. I should be able to move on to the third of the five boats I've planned for my life.

    Thank you so much for your trust. As a hobby, I just use it as a platform to show off my abilities. Over the past few years, I have envisioned the conditional transfer (sale) of more than 20 years of model-making experience and specialized tools of my own design and manufacture. But because the current domestic level is generally low, due to economic conditions, technology and time constraints, the people who can meet my requirements are extremely limited. After all, everyone's understanding and production level is very different, a lot of things can not be done by equipment alone. So I gave up and planned to build at least five fully internal hulls to give my life purpose a happy ending. I believe in this forum, a lot of masters, there is no best only better.

    em... That's a tough question to answer. As the deck is not complete, it can not be disassembled from the slipway, otherwise it will affect the accuracy of subsequent positioning. I'll let you know as soon as I finish the main deck, okay. If I forget, please remind me.😅

    Hi, Ronginger. Thank you for your assessment. In fact, it seems to me that no matter what the model or component is, it's important to locate it accurately and repeatedly pretend to assemble it. That's why I spent a lot of time developing production tools to help. Many people see the results, but many people do not think of a perfect interface, I even repeated dozens of times! I don't want to see any obvious holes, or I'll have to tear it down and rebuild it. More than 20 years of experience have enabled me to master the basic skills of machining, but in the actual production process, I usually have many different methods, the ultimate goal is to achieve efficiency and accuracy. I'm not used to doing things the same way, always looking for new ways, even the same parts. Unfortunately, many of these steps are not fully documented in practice and are only filmed at the end of a phase to avoid errors. The grooving of Bridge Deck Crossbeam is finished by milling cutter and engraving cutter. It's not hard, but positioning is important, and that's the unique advantage of my slipway.

    A few days ago, the old mother unfortunately died of illness, stop work for nearly a week to take care of the funeral. Yesterday I returned to the studio from my grief to continue my project.     Hi, Michael. I think I should start by thanking EDT for the near-perfect design drawings and process. When I first saw it, I couldn't resist the urge to make it! For this reason I gave up my previous plan and went all out to build it. This ship has given me the opportunity to show off, and also let me know more friendly friends from all over the world.     Yes, I made many clamps just for the hull. After milling with 304 stainless steel screw (thickness 1.0-1.2 mm) , the rib can be inserted into the place of very small spacing.

    Hi Gunther MT. Because without the rivet holes, it's hard to see the assembled modules. Its function is only to reflect the split structure, water tanks hidden below the deck, do not need too much energy to pursue the above rivets, after all, its cap diameter is only 0.3, the maximum size of the raised plate must not be greater than 0.05-0.08, must be round head. It's a hard job, and I think it's a pyrrhic victory. So I cut a hole in it to show it. Of course, if it's above deck, I'll try to be as specific as possible.

    Thank you for keeping an eye on me. I'm keep going until I'm done. Estimated about half a month or so I will update in time. I don't have the third volume, so I'll probably have to cancel the rope part, but I'll try to finish the hull part within the year.
