Thx MTaylor, I wish I knew more about its origin. Your comment on seeing them in a PX is a great start. I should have ask Dad about it when I had the chance. It did have ropes going every where on it but the ropes are long gone. The poor ship sure took a beating from us kids growing up. .
I have this model ship. My Dad brought it back from Indonesia in the 1972 after Vietnam. It’s been kicking around in a box in pieces for many years. I’m beginning to reassemble it. I may need some help. Mike
